Fashion Week Brooklyn Fall 2014

Fashion Week Bklyn Fall/Winter 14 ended on Sunday on a high note. This
year 12 year designer Tayna Williams of Pinky Sez designed a very "
girls just wanna have fun" collection. It consisted of a lot
metallics, faux fur and tulle. It was flirty and fun! This aspiring
young designer has set the bar high for herself and I look forward to
her collection next season!

South African designer, Richard Fitz brought us the look of the
Appalachias with his   intricate processed wool that is matted
together to give you the look of felt fabric. His designs we very bold
yet colors were classic neutrals and earth tones. Richard is very much
into using Eco-friendly types if fabrics and had become a trademark of
his.
Fellow South African Designer,  Nicole Anne Khoury of the label
Ikhonic had more of a simplistic style of design. She focused on the
silhouette of the woman's body. Her pieces were classic styles that
are timeless, like Ralph Lauren. There were a few textures and
patterns within the designs, which enhanced the overall look.
